Cybher13 - Seeking a Sponsor

Last weekend the very first Cybher was held, organised by the inspirational Sian To, who I will be blogging about later in the week, as she is in Niger for World Vision. I wasn't there, and I really wish I had been.

It's always hard to know what to do in terms of conferences and commitments, but Cybher looked amazing, and as Joseph grows, this blog, if its to focus still on premature babies and pregnancy, is going to need a new focus and direction and I need some guidance. Reaching out to the blogging community is a great way of doing that.

The way I see my blog now, is focussing more on pregnancy and supporting women at risk of complications, as well as giving information and advice about prematurity, getting through the hospital experience and beyond, with updates, personal reflections and some reviews thrown in! Supporting charity is at the heart of Not Even A Bag of Sugar. Whilst Tommy's and Bliss are essential to me, the #borntoosoon activities early in May have shown me that I really want to increase my focus on charities that work with expectant mothers and newborns in the developing world. I've been guilty of feeling that the problem is so big what can we do? However the #borntoosoon activities showed me that its about the simple things, kangaroo care, corticosteroids, antibiotics, educating women and care providers, not big stuff, not scary stuff.

If you are in the position to support me to attend Cybher I do have a presentation I can send you but in a nutshell here it is.
